Cindy, originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, relocated to Colorado in 1997 to start her teaching career in the Adams 12 school district. She taught Physical Education at North Mor Elementary School for 20 years. Her interest in gymnastics was sparked by watching her daughter progress from parent-tot classes at 18 months old to becoming a competitive gymnast. Cindy admired the numerous benefits her daughter derived from the sport, which to her were more significant than just the skills learned. These included dedication, the formation of strong bonds, the understanding that success in gymnastics requires extra effort, the ability to overcome fears, focus, and accepting critique as constructive feedback. Since 2018, Cindy has been involved with a gymnastics program, where she cherishes interacting with the athletes and witnessing their joy when they master a new skill. She loves her role and the impact it allows her to have on young athletes.
